Global-Chica
Global-Chica is a New Yorker who's now living in Portugal's charming capital, Lisboa. She is pursuing a Master's degree in International Management and writing a thesis about implementing an inaugural corporate sustainability reporting process.
Professionally, Global-Chica worked as a management consultant in Washington, DC and in NJ for four years until she took a Leave of Absence from the corporate world and began her globe-trotting adventures and pursuit of a higher education, both academically and as a world traveler.
Growing up in NYC, Global-Chica aspired to be an anchor woman and was part of a High School program for future journalists but when she went on to college, she decided to switch her focus to business and majored in International Marketing. She studied abroad in Florence, Italy during her Sophmore year in college and must've caught the travel bug there because she hasn't stopped traveling since. She's been to every continent but Antartica and is currently in Angola, finishing her Master's thesis while her boyfriend is on an international assignment in the booming country.
